The Giuseppe Levi Talent School is an educational initiative of the University of Torino, aimed at stimulating the direct involvement of particularly talented students into the multidisciplinary study of biological complexity.
Giuseppe Levi was a pioneer in the development of a dynamic view of biology . Not less important, he was the first mentor of the Nobel laureates Salvador Luria, Renato Dulbecco and Rita Levi Montalcini , who provided seminal contributions to the birth and growth of Molecular Biology, Genome Science and Neuroscience, through the cross contamination among different fields of research and methodological approaches.
The aim of the Talent School will be to provide outstanding and strongly motivated students with a multidisciplinary environment that may help them in developing the cultural opening and technical skills necessary to tackle the questions at the forefront of studies on biological complexity.
