Constructing the cerebellum: cross-talk between cell types underlies scaling of circuits
Alexandra Joyner
Sloan-Kettering Center di New York

In her lab Alexandra Joyner studies the molecular signals that regulate the formation of the nervous system during embryonic development. In particular, she is one of the leading world experts in cerebellar development and cerebellar tumors.

The passion for research on the cerebellum joined Alexandra Joyner and Ferdinando Rossi in the past. The invitation to Joyner to give a lecture in Turin will be the opportunity to live again the enthusiasm for science that Ferdinando Rossi was able to communicate and listen to the latest developments of neurobiology in this field.

Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is the global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research.

BAW 2016 in Turin is organized by CentroScienza Onlus
