The Laboratory of Cerebral Cortex Development at SISSA, directed by Antonello Mallamaci, is interested in a small set of patterning genes implicated in late cortico-cerebral histogenesis, both in normal development and in select pathological aberrations of it (West syndrome and glioblastoma).
Moreover, the Team works at RNA therapy of haploinsufficiencies of neurological interest.
